That afternoon, we decided to drive up highway 150, the route
on which most of the Unita campgrounds can be found - it's the
one that goes to Mirror Lake. Up near Bald Mountain pass, at
10,700 feet, we found a trailhead for Bald Mountain. Though
the trail was only 2 miles long, the elevation and its steepness
made it seem much longer.
